Terms and Conditions
Our regular method of delivery is by City Link or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery depending on size and weight for which the following terms and conditions apply:
Standard Delivery Rate: £7.00 for next day.
Not all items listed on this website are carried in stock and in the event of a part not being available for immediate dispatch you will be contacted with a lead time from the manufacture , normally 2 to 3 days.
All orders accepted by 3pm Monday to Thursday are dispatched same day and would normally be delivered within 24 Hours.
All orders received by 3pm on Friday are dispatched on Friday and delivered by the following Monday, unless Saturday AM service is requested, in which case delivery will be by midday the following Saturday.
All orders received after 3pm on a Friday will be processed on the Monday morning.
In the case that the delivery is not possible due to there being no person present at the address to sign acceptance of delivery, the carrier will request a new delivery date from the customer and an Aborted Delivery charge of £10.00 will be charged to the customer if repeated failed delivery. The following exceptions apply: For deliveries and transport cost to Non-Mainland UK, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world, please contact us.
Customers must refuse acceptance of delivery of parcels which appear damaged.
The customer may only return products to HSS Spares Ltd , and receive a credit or refund, on the following conditions:
(i) The Customer may only return product to HSS Spares Ltd for a refund or credit with the prior consent of HSS Spares Ltd.
(ii) Return must be made within 30 days of the date of delivery (as stated on the delivery documentation).
(iii) Products must be returned to HSS Spares Ltd in their original condition and packaging and in a condition which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale. The Customer must state the relevant HSS Spares Ltd order number and invoice details on the HSS Spares Ltd, enclosing it with the product (or other proof of purchase).
Where specific instructions appear in this web site or with any product regarding its return to HSS Spares Ltd, the Customer must follow such instructions.
If the Customer does not quote invoice details or the HSS Spares Ltd order number, as on the original despatch note, the credit will be based upon the lowest sales price.
For products returned due to Customer error or no longer required and returned in accordance with (i) – (iii) above a re-stocking charge of 25% of the invoice value, subject to a £5.00 minimum, will be applied.
Where the Customer returns products to HSS Spares Ltd not in accordance with (i) -c above (for example, after 30-days from the date of despatch and in an unfit state) HSS Spares Ltd will refuse delivery or may apply a re-stocking charge which relates to the actual cost of reprocessing (subject to a minimum 25% of invoice value and a £5.00 minimum).
This returns policy excludes Printed Circuit Boards, non-catalogue products and specially manufactured products.
All products are returned to HSS Spares Ltd at cost to the Customer and at the Customer’s risk. HSS Spares Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to them or any items received by HSS Spares Ltd with them.
Products to be returned to HSS Spares Ltd should be adequately packed and despatched freight prepaid, clearly labelled to:
